Well, let me give you guys the inside scoop on Dual Air as we know it.

Dual Air started roughly Mid 2007 by DJ De1ty and myself(DJ Phate). Firstly, we used to be Dual Air On Atrum Radio but due to the nature of Online Streaming, we had to re-invent ourselves as Dual Air On LiveRadio Dot Co Dot Za. But, before I get to that, let's give some detail.

On Atrum Radio, there was a show called, DJ w1ck3d's Talk Show. If you don't know by now, DJ w1ck3d is part of the Admin Team for LiveRadio. He also happens to be the a kickass DJ. He had the idea of playing music online, but, also being able to take Skype(tm) Calls while live on air. By doing this, he could take LIVE CALLS while ON AIR. He took this one step further and got an ex DJ to phone him via Skype(tm) and they could DJ "together" on his TalkShow.

This was an awesome feature as we could now, in real time, get people to phone into the station. This made myself and DJ De1ty ponder. . What if we could use this for a double show? Hhhmm

So, DJ De1ty and I decided to start playing around with this concept. Soon enough we realized that, when doing it via Skype(tm) and you don't have a certain something, you get echo's, clarity and other issues. This was a cool idea as we could do "Our Show" while not having to go anywhere. Unfortunately due to the sound issues, we decided that we would rather make the trip to each other as we don't stay that far from each other.

By mixing and matching our Sound Engineering Skills we finally got a setup that we were happy with.

Thus: Dual Air Show was Born On Atrum Radio.

After several sound check attempts and Grey hair(If I had any hair) we were ready to take this show LIVE. We launched and things went semi smooth. After ironing out more issues and getting more comfortable with our Mic skills, we decided on the time slot(Wednesdays 7pm - 9pm). Then came the "what's playing when" and BOOM:

The Dual Air Duo was Reborn!

As for the "Where we do it"; one show will be done at DJ De1ty's studio and the next will be at my studio etc.
