Ok, so this is where the personal stuff started eH? Cool, I can do this *crack knuckles*

See, music has been a part of my life since birth. I would even go as far as saying it’s my birthright. My whole family is musically inclined which means I’ve been singing and playing musical instruments from a very young age.

I got my first guitar at age 8, my first drum machine at age 13 and have been jamming ever since. There’s not much that beats a fire, a couple of mates, a bong and our guitars. We jam till late at night and there’s nothing that can stop us. Music has played a real important role in my life as it’s the one thing that truly drives me. There isn’t a day that goes by, that I do not feel the need to slap some kickass tunage on or grab my guitar and play my heart out. As a side note, I can play piano, guitar/bass, drums and the fool.

People always ask how I can listen to Rock, hiphop and trance variations. It’s always the same reply: How can one truly appreciate music if one cannot understand and respect all types of music? Surely by slapping yourself into a specific genre, you are narrowing your perspective on the very thing that makes us tic. I dig ever guitar solo, every phat beat, and every synthetic sound.

If you are in front of a crowd, whether you are doing a solo or bringing in two beats, you are making music and that is the gift that sets us free.

If I had to break music into body parts, my Mind would belong to Trance, my Heart to Rock and my Soul to Blues.
